Including your SEISS claim on your 2020/21 self assessment tax return

Every single individual has varying circumstances for their tax position during the 2020/21 tax year.

From 6th April 2021 it will be possible for self assessment tax payers to finalise their affairs.

Are you concerned that you’ve earned less than in previous years, perhaps ending up with losses.

You may have received the SEISS grant(s) and still had what you’d call “an alright year”, but haven’t had the chance to put any tax money away.

Are you someone who has had a similar level of income but with less tax deductions?

Are you someone who has had first year business asset deductions but you don’t know if you’re maximising your deductions.

Are you someone who’s had periodical (forced) shut down that could potentially benefit from have a different accounting period?

Are you someone who could benefit from running a limited company as your sole trade has seen a massive boost in this period? Are you concerned you may lose your entitlement for SEISS if you change your trading status?
