Quickbooks Training Day! Friday 13 March #QBTD

During January, we covered how to setup and complete your account settings (with a discount of course), create an invoice, connect your bank accounts, credit cards, paypal accounts etc. Setting up, recording, reporting and filing with HMRC for CIS and PAYE, VAT and Making Tax Digital….. all under one roof.

Again, last month’s attendees were given a tour of the ‘projects’ function…. and all of them decided to enable and use this new feature. You can track the profit on each project you are working on, via costings and timesheets. On a separate note, the “reports” section within this software is out of this world, it’s also easily automated! When recorded correctly you have power in your pocket. Just pull out your mobile app and everything you need is there.

RECEIPT CAPTURE: This is mind blowing. The tech inside ‘snapping’ your paperwork means the receipt is scanned after the photo has been taken and Quickbooks completes the entries for money and supplier automatically! Simply login into your Quickbooks app and take a pic in the RECEIPT section. When working with the computer, head to banking, and receipt capture. You are able to upload AND drag and drop with computer files

UPDATE on mileage app: To enable this function smoothly on an Iphone please check setting within your iphone handset to enable the location to ‘always’. You can log your business journeys and automatically and let the app do the accounting for you.
